You should not need to re-boot your docking station.....
(I\'m using the Thermaltake BlacX)
Power button in back....have you tried powering down before removing the HD; swapping drives, and then hit the power button ont he dock back on?
Computer should simply recognize \"new\" swapped out drives.....
