I\'m a 19 year old university student that wants to go into wedding photography. I shoot with a Canon 5D, 70-200 F4L IS, and 28-135 IS. The 28-135 is fine, but for wedding photography I need something faster and sharper. I\'m saving up for a 85L II for the beginning of next year but my main concern is the wide-angle lens. The choices I had in mind are the new 21mm ZE distagon or the 24L II. I\'m a sharpness freak and leaning towards the 21mm distagon because of the claimed corner to corner sharpness and nonexistent CA. I was just wondering how much the AF and 1.4 aperture on the 24mm would help me. I would probably shoot at F2.8 and smaller (more DOF and corner sharpness) for landscapes and people shots anyway. Your input and thoughts are appreciated. =)
I\'m in the Toronto area and I visit Calgary quite often. If anybody needs a second shooter I\'ll be more then glad to come and shoot. I have never done a wedding before but I have two weddings in Calgary next year already booked. I really want to start now but can\'t seem to give out any free wedding shoots. Funny how we\'re in a recession and I can\'t find a couple to give out a free wedding shoot. =P
