Had a great day in NYC trying out the 5D Mark II. Wasn\'t too hard to adapt to modified button placements from 5D. Overall it is a worthwhile upgrade.
Far better LCD.
Clearly improved high ISO noise performance.
Feels \"good in the hand\".
Fantastic to be able to shoot 21mp with such an unobtrusive camera.
Focus seemed responsive and sure--even at night in Times Square.
3 custom settings very helpful
Shot over 400 frames and about 8 clips--battery reads 2/3 full.
Movie mode is easy to use--useful to me for very short clips. Sandisk III handled .movs okay
Sensor cleaning makes me feel good--but will have to see if it really works!
The images were opened with default settings in CS4 with no other processing/sharpening.

Times Square ISO 1000 1/60th f3.5
