Thanks, guys. I was about to order one of those, but I bumped into a new chipped adapter which is USER programmable. (theoretically.) It\'s also \"certified thickness\" for correct infinity-focus. (we shall see...) It definitely has a flange, and it\'s black. (not sure if that\'s anodized, though.)
This Singapore dealer has them at $35. (and $23 for the chip alone)
The price seems too good to be true (possibly rejects? inconsistent thickness? no tech support?) but I couldn\'t resist trying them. Even if the chip goes south, I\'d still have a black adapter.
I ordered two, so we shall see.
