Wow! Without even looking at the view the reflection of the sky is super. Add in the view, it goes for miles and miles...
Craig.
I was so obsessed with the reflection and the post that I did not notice how well the background depth had emerged! Thanks for pointing out those back mountains to me!

Great shot Martin, that incredible reflection dominates the images to the point that sky itself could be cropped a bit. Who needs the sky when you have such a beautiful mirror like image. Regardless, either way a splendid shot!
Thanks Zeph.
I hadn\'t seen the crop that you suggest here but I can see where you are coming from, and agree it would add a new dimension to the pic.

Hi Martin, awesome colours and clarity in this very enjoyable view! And although I agree with mooch about the post breaking the horizon, it along with the expansive scene and distant peaks peeking out through the valley all give this a marvelous sense of depth and 3d quality. You three be sure to have a drink on me!
Cheers,
David
Hey Dave.
Glad you like it - although as I said before I cannot agree about the post which is deliberate and an integrel part of the composition, just as it is. It\'s a great place to shoot and, as you can imagine, the proximity of the single malt at the hotel at the top of the glen is a great bonus - I\'ve had several on you already!
