Advice?

Buy a CF card reader that plugs into the USB or Firewire port. MUCH faster, more reliable, easier, less likely to screw up your camera, etc. It\'s easier to replace a $20 CF card than shortcircuiting a 1Ds or your brand new 5D Mark II!!
