Terry all the shots are through 2 to 3 pieces of zoo glass,with angles up to 45 deg. to the glass surface. through in scratched glass , ice cream and coke smears , you get the picture, the 1.4 is not really for working dist, but more magnification . I always use a single flash either on the hot shoe , or hand held and manually fired with my finger.
