the unfortunate thing is .mov tends to be finicky on PC\'s. Sadly these canon files, at least the pre-pro ones, won\'t run on PowerDVD and QuickTime doesn\'t seem to take full advantage of HW decoding. Using PowerDVD to playback bluray AVC 38Mb/s plus 5.1 uncompressed hidef audio and making use of my video card fully my CPU is only at like 20% usage! I hope the release format is more compatible with powerdvd and doesnt use such a tricky header that only quicktime (which is HORRIBLE) can play it at all. Trying a couple original from camera 1920x1080x30p files from teh 5dmkii there were simply way too many dropped frames on my 4400+ X2 AMD and the audio didn\'t work most of the time, if quicktime was decent and if it used full HW accel, with my video card, it should\'ve been a breeze to play it 100% smoothly.
