I use both, extensively, at every job. Canon provides an M/AF switch so that photographers can take manual control when they need to. Considering the very wide range of circumstances in which DSLR autofocus systems are a total failure, it doesn\'t make any sense to suggest that a camera this extensive shouldn\'t be able to do both well.
