But Canon is further down the full frame sensor path than any competitor, so it should be reaping economies. The low end full frame camera could even have a sensor like that in the current 5D, but just have liveview and a couple of other updates, a cheap shutter and a slowish frame rate. I\'m thinking of a full frame version of the 1000D, perhaps in the existing 5D body style. The main goal would be to produce the cheapest full frame body they can, while getting over a couple of the obsolescenses found in the current 5D.
