I do not have that fear with Canon DSLRs:
10D was better than my D60. All following xxDs follow ups where better, too (D20, S30, D40 D50). Same for xxxDs. And imo most 1Ds where (except that AF problem with MK III). The point with 5D is that it was a complete new product. Till now there is no sequal. But I am in good mood (or should I say \"moon\"?), it will overcome the original 5D, too.
