I've been shooting Sony since quite some time, and quite many bodies over the years (a7R, a7RIII, a7RV, a1, a7IV, a7CII, and now the a7V). I've had the a7V since it came out and overall I am very happy with the specs - good enough for my usecases, BUT...
...I have observed that the a7V seems to have more issues and hickups than any other Sony body I have previously owned?! I have had it freeze up a number of time to the point I have to remove the battery and start over. It sometimes is harder to wake up than a teenager?! It has had jumpy exposure at times - sort of overexposes the scene, takes a second, realize its mistakes and then dials it in correctly, etc.
Has any other user noticed the same things?
It doesn't make the machine unusable, but it is sort of frustrating. I mainly use it with the 24-50/2.8 lens and I use Sony Tough SD and CFExp-A cards in it. Latest 2.0 firmware.
Anyone knows what may cause these type of issues? Changes to busses, architecture and/or hardware, like sensor?
