MF is slow but sure on an EVF, just as it was on a focussing screen, all sorts of 'aids' were introduced to speed it up on SLRs, the split image screen being the best. And you can't beat the speed of MF with a really good rangefinder,such as the Leiva one, not the fuzzy things in cheap fixed lens rangefinder cameras. But they all are at the mercy of adjustment and register.
A digital split image would be great, but the one in myvXt5 is not that good.
