From the reviews so far, the Brightin Star 35mm 1.7 Apo doesn't seem to be very sharp wide open, and stopping down to f/2 doesn't improve things much either.

Honestly, I think LLL should design a Leica 35mm f/1.2 Noct with more character, following the signature of the "OG" 50mm f/1, rather than the modern interpretation we have now.
I support the production of more character glass in any context!
Having now show the LLL 50/1.2 and 35/1.4, that company impresses me. I’d love a uber speed 28/1.2 or 35/1.2 from them.
