It sounds like opening the box negates being able to return the lens. If not the case, then try it and see what you think. The value of this lens is the f/2.0. 50mm @ f/2.0 will not compete with your 50mm @ f1.2, but given the room to make the shot at 150mm, f/2.0 will compete with the 50mm @ f/1.2, but with a bit more compression. Where it won’t compete is the weight hanging off the body, but it probably weighs less than the weight of the 50mm & 135mm. My new travel kit is the 16-35mm F/2.8 GMii, 50-150mm f/2.0 GM and the 24mm f/1.4 for use in low light/interiors. This is new for me in that I am a prime only shooter for a good while.
