You aren't not looking thru colored filters or N.D.s which is way nice
Eyepiece is on the left of the camera, a plus as you aren't pushing your face against the camera back looking thru the view finder
Cons
Believe it or not I missed not having a built-in light meter
I found Nikon's focusing system easier to use
Limited close up distance of the M3
Both camera & lens were sent out for a fresh CLA, so the M3 was not limited by neglect.
