Have you tried an Adobe Bridge --> ACR workflow? Then save the file as TIFF, or if you're still enamored with Adobe, DNG? The expectation is that you'd still be able to apply the appropriate lens profiles in ACR without requiring PS.

Caveat: I subscribe to the Photographers Bundle so I have both Bridge and ACR available...I don't know if those products are available individually..

I have all but given up anything Adobe. I think the biggest problem is my refusal to rent their software. I am using PSE 2021. Even with ACR updates, the program is completely unable to open raw files from: 90D, R100, R10. I can correct distortion only if I open DPP4, do my thing, then use PSE to make the corrections, then save another version of the JPG. DNG won't open raw files from 90D, R100, R10 either. Which makes it a bit less than useless.

I am OK w/DPP4 as long as i am using Canon lenses. I am used to it. It ain't LR, but it works, mostly. Except for the 3rd party lens thing.
