Can’t say how the EVF in the X-T5 has improved as it is my 1st Fuji camera bought last year. It is just fine for all my use, no complaints. Just love the camera!!
I recently added the X-E5 as a 2nd body and the 3.69 million dot EVF in the X-T5 is FAR superior to the 2.36 million dot one in the X-E5. So much so that the 2 Voigt MF 18 and 27mm pancake primes I bought for the X-E5 will now be used instead on the X-T5, as manual focusing is much easier to do with its the 28% larger EVF and higher mp screen. And it is Far superior to the EVF’s in my compact Sony bodies, the A7CR and A6700, which are identical at 2.359 million dot. (Yes a $3,400 Sony FF camera has the same crappy EVF as a $1,400 Sony APS-C camera)
Oh and the X-T5 LCD 1.84 million dot is also a big step above the X-E5 and both Sony LCD's vs 1.4 for X-E5 or 1.36 for the Sony's. Much easier to see in bright sunny conditions.
