Spring blooming, this is Arizona giant "asparagus", SP2 rigid/ M11 EV1 late afternoon light. The agave send up a 1-15 stalk in just a few weeks, and after a decade or more of growth will flower and die. Agave are abundant I have many around my home and each year 1-2 will will go through the bloom cycle heralding Spring. In a few weeks these will no longer have the asparagus look and will put a branched flowers at the top that is also a good photo subject. Cobalt Kodachrome 25.
