This listing is for a Leica M2 chrome camera body in excellent condition, serial number 1021824. Self-timer version. Camera is in excellent condition but does show a few tiny marks and a scrape on the viewfinder eyepiece outer edge, as shown in the last two photos.
I do not know the camera's service history. However, the camera is fully functional and ready to use. The best I can tell, everything works correctly, specifically:
* Viewfinder is crystal clear and bright, no haze or yellowing.
* Framelines appear correctly.
* Rangefinder patch is strong, contrasty and well-aligned.
* Shutter speeds sound accurate across the full range, especially at slow speeds.
* Self-timer works correctly.
* Shutter curtains are pristine.
* Smooth film advance and rewind operation.
* Bottom plate fits perfectly.
