The Kaiser Wilhelm I Monument on the Hohensyburg in Dortmund, captured today with the Zeiss Batis 18mm f/2.8.
Situated on a hill, it's visible from many kilometers away and is illuminated at night. A few years ago, some climate activists decided to save the world by attacking the monument with paint-filled bags—essentially damaging it. And it actually worked: this year, we've had an unusually cold and snowy winter so far. Unfortunately, the monument has been left with a somewhat feminine, pinkish tint ever since.
