Thanks Jim. With the vagaries of screen performance, it's always good to get feedback like you provided here. I adjust the image until it reflects what I want on my screen and then hope for the best out there.

I hear you. I usually work on my laptop but sometimes view pictures on my Android phone or a Linux computer with old-ish Philips monitor. The laptop screen shows everything in pastels, the phone tries to make everything over-vibrant so potential buyers will be impressed, and the Linux display needs to be toned down because I'm afraid the pictures might catch fire from the intensity. The nice sunrise by AlexCruise is intense red on my phone, a nice glowing orange on my laptop, and I'm afraid to view it on the Linux monitor without sunglasses.

So I don't trust colors. But your color shading comes across on all of them.

I could adjust the Linux monitor but it's not worth the trouble. I looked for adjustments on the laptop but it has no physical buttons to do it that I could find. Windows does have a color mapping identifier of some sort with a dozen or more options and no explanation of what they are. I'm afraid I might load a regressive mapping but can't undo it. So I adjust in my head. Even if I "fixed" my displays I could never be sure other people are using.
