FS: Olympus OM-1 Film Camera with Lenses and Accessories

Item 1: Olympus OM-1 Complete Kit

If you've thought about an OM-1 to shoot film with and want everything ready to go, here's your kit. The camera and lenses are all in excellent condition for their age.

Comes with:
Olympus OM-1 MD Camera
Olympus Auto-S G.Zuiko 50mm f/1.4 Lens
Olympus Auto-W Zuiko 28mm f/2.8 Lens
Rubber lens hood for 50mm (a little out of round... consider a freebie)
Full set of extension tubes (look brand new) for Olympus (with boxes)
Trigger cable
Old school Olympus strap for that 1970s vibe (significant wear)

The camera was serviced and converted to use modern batteries by Camtech (the best for Olympus) in 2007. I don't think it's been serviced again since then, but the shutter speeds are all spot-on when measured with my tester. I just shot two rolls with the camera last week, and the light seals are good. The meter seemed accurate (within a half stop for sure) when compared to my external meter. Cosmetically, there are only a few paint flaws, all of which can be seen in the photos.

** The only downside of this camera is the cover for the motor drive mechanism (see underside photo). The thin metal tab broke off one side of the dime-sized cover so it doesn't lock onto the body. I'm sure I could have hunted around and found someone who has this part for about $15 but never bothered. I used a piece of gaffers tape to hold it on, and that worked for many rolls of film.

The lenses are both clean and clear with excellent glass front and back. If you look with a sensor scope, you'll spot a few flecks of dust inside, but that's to be expected even for lenses half this age. There is no fungus or haze. The bodies are cosmetically beautiful. I only have one set of Olympus lens caps (front and rear) and will include a generic front cap on the other lens. The camera body will serve as the rear cap.

It's hard to know how to value this kit, but it looks like the lenses go for about $100 (50mm) and $150 (28mm), so you'd be getting a very nice camera body and accessories for almost nothing.

The $260 price is net to me, and I will cover CONUS shipping.
