This is the version with AF-S so can be used on Z bodies with autofocus. It's surprisingly quiet and accurate. Despite being an old lens, it does not have an AF motor squeak noise that some other AFS lens exhibit.

The appearance is is kind of rough, but the glass is super clean and spotless. Focus is great and IQ is great.
