I purchased this lens used in pristine condition from Board member James Markus and have used it for two trips to shoot Sandhill Cranes at the Bosque del Apache with incredible results!
I used it with a D500 cropped sensor body and they worked great together. Fast AF, fact bursts, extended reach. I am told using the 1.4 or 1.7 teleconverter yields excellent results.
