So I played with the C50 a bit more and tried my other lenses. This is the issue that I ran into, my RF 400 keeps getting the ERR 70 popping up. I did clean the contacts just in case but it works on 3 R1's and the R5 II. I tried it with the 2x extender and I still get the error.
I put my wife's EF 400mm with the 2x and adapter with no issues. I tried the 15-35, 85, 24-105z, 70-200z and my 100-300 all without issues. Now this only seems on the camera side, it did seem to work taking video which as short but still no errors.
I can't even get it to take one picture at this point and it locks up with error 70. Do we think this may just be a firmware/compatibility issue with the lens? I am leaning this way myself seeing all the other glass works and my 400mm works on all other bodies and never had any issues with it.
I appreciate any input.
