I never thought I say this but my RF collection is now complete. When I started my move into mirrorless I took the approach the RF lens had to be a favourite of mine from EF days or it had to offer something EF lenses didn't offer otherwise I would continue with the EF lens equivalent.
There are 4 current RF lenses that I had/have a slight interest in
70-200L Z - Realized I rarely used the 70-200EF. Used when I went to Antarctica. Back home I always grab the 100-400EF or 100-500RF. I sold all my 70-200EFs.
10-20L - Kept the 11-24 for infrared and adapt it to my GFX. The 14-35 does fine on the R5 and thus I wouldn't use the 10-20 that often.
50 VCM - Don't find the RF 50/1.2 size and weight to be an issue. The Otus 50 ML weight and size wise seems to be similar to the VCM. Have 20 different 50mm primes in various mounts that can be adapted to use on the R5/R5 MKII. Granted only 4 are 1.4s. Last 2 years I added FD and FL prime lenses with different optics 200mm or less(sans the FD 200/1.8) to see how the perform. I plan on eliminating most when my project ends. The VCM may slip through the cracks and be added from the perspective it has more in common with the other VCMs than the 1.2.
85/1.2L - Went with the DS as it was different, and added the 85 VCM for a lighter lens. Still use the EF 1.2 occasionally and also for IR.
Not looking to add anymore RF lenses I'm happy with my 18 RF lens collection now, though any new offerings Canon has in the future ie) 70-150/2, RF tilt shifts could change that.
