How did you get those shots ? did you camped there for a while until the moment came ? did you ask for their permission to take photos ?

What I am going to say is not about this story-telling shot Joshua took.
I know a lot of popular photography locations in Asia offer staged scenes where locals in their costumes doing stuff like fishing, smoking pipes, playing pokers, selling veggie.... In other word, paid models.
I remember a few years ago a photographer won some kind of top prize for a photo he took in Indonesia, showing some seniors in traditional costumes playing some kind of game in a smoke-filled room. Later it was found out that the scene was staged, his award was revoked.
