I reached out to TTartisan on a Lens profile for lightroom and they indicated they have nothing in the works. My last step I would like to try is turning on in-camera corrections on my A7C to see if it affects the raw files. Lovely little lens, I just need to figure out a solution for vignette. (Usually I love it, just that it's a bit strong on this lens)
Did you read the list by RoamingScott here page 14 post 13? If you have the "hard vignette" you may be interested in having the lens exchanged.
Yes I did. To my knowledge that was a Nikon Z issue. I'm on E. Its correctable, but I just need a profile that has the correct Vignette shape.
Hard vignette is not correctable, and as I pointed out, there were E shooters posting reviews on Youtube that had it as well. I'm basically the subject matter expert on this at this point
Is there a hard edge to it? I couldn't find an example.
I don't think I have any hard edges on my e-mount version. There is vignetting but I figured normal with the size and aperture. Although I've seen it in the sky at f8 too, I'll shoot the sky throughout the range at some point and check.

Even in light rain I don't love the idea with humidity and condensing then going into the internals after while resting with the lens standing. Before I know it, fungus on my CV lens that then infects the rest.
I don't think a lens with internal fungus infect fellow lens friends. Isn't that a myth only?
Don't see why it couldn't transfer, it's all microscopic spores going through the air. Don't know the odds but I'd think it's a possibility. When I get a used lens I usually keep it separately until I've had a good chance to hit it with sunlight for a while.
Switching lenses takes time as it is, I don't need a fiddly front lens cap on top of that. I don't use them.
Can't blame you. I usually leave it off while in use but I have the protector filters on both just in case.
