Love the sunstar shining through the leave in the second picture!
I just received my Kase 200mm F5.6 reflex mirror lens today and took it out for a quick spin, didn't find good subjects to test it. I know the donut bokeh isn't everybody's cup of tea.
Thanks Douglas! That took a bit of luck, there was a little breeze...so I had to take quite a number of shots to get one that I was happy with.
I do like donuts....mmmmm donuts. Sorry, kind of slipped into Homer Simpson there...
Some day I want to compare this "donut" lens to my "soap bubble" 100mm Trioplan lens. A few from today.
Beautiful set Douglas, you definitely found some nice fall color!

I was thinking about the Trioplan....thin ring vs thick ring. Beautiful colors in those last shots Douglas.
Some more from Sunday...

Very pleasing set, Tim. The sunstar in that last shot is exquisite with the clean thin lines.

Prickly sunset.
Really liking that first cactus sunset, Eric! And nice to see you bring out the big gun for the superb egret shot, the graphic lines in the water add a lot.

Fantastic (as usual) Ronny.
Here's another Puffin image from Newfoundland a few months ago.
That little one grabs the heart! Nice capture, Ed.

Last night’s moon about to rise above Zion cliffs. Even though it was dark the cliffs had a glow of light from the town of Springdale, and the two peaks at far left can be seen catching sidelight from the moon.
