First fall break with kids, so decided to go somewhere and try to hit some fall colors. We were in the Gatlingburg side of the Smoky Mountains mid October and guess we were still on the early side for the true fall colors to hit - good amount of yellows, but still good amount of green. We did see some more oranges and red along the Foothills Parkway but less so in Newfound Gap area.
