I'd get the viltrox 50mm f2 air if you mostly want it for non-people shots. It's incredibly sharp, well corrected, small, light and cheap. Sharpest out of the compact 50s available but not the best bokeh. Sigma 50mm f2 is similar in rendering (clean) but with smoother bokeh at the cost of being significantly heavier, larger and costs a lot more. Does have an aperture ring, manual/auto focus switch, but still no weather sealing.
For people with autofocus, Sony 55mmf1.8 used or the 50mm f1.8. 55 has better bokeh but it's 55 and zeiss sonar, blurs fast, suffers from CA, but very good for people shots.
50mm f1.8 from sony is cheap brand new, clean simple look, bokeh not the best, very light, decent sharpness.
Samyang 45mm f1.8 for better bokeh than the 50, less wide than the 55. Not as good for continuous autofocus, hint of older rendering (not quite as clean), suits filmic edits well. Build and design feels cheap but a nice lens.
There's a few others around the size of the 33mmf1.4 and some good manual focus options, the voigtlander 50mm f1.2 nokton (SE) is my favourite compact 50mm including the af options but close distance needs stopping down, very good all rounder manual focus lens.
A7Cii & A7CR are the smallest interchangeable lens full-frame stills focussed cameras for Sony that are recent as far as I know.

- Viltrox 50mm f2 Air (not f1.8 and lower but very sharp, cheap, tiny and light)
- Sony 50mm f1.8
- Samyang 45mm f1.8
- Sony 55mm f1.8
I haven't used the xf 33mmf1.4 but I've heard the AF is improved over the xf35mmf1.4 with a more ... modern rendering.
If you want faster AF, the two Sonys there are the better ones.
For a clean look, the viltrox 50mm f2 air is mighty impressive imho. Tiny, light, great IQ, well corrected for CA. Could be too sharp for some.
50mm f1.8 also has decent rendering, a clean look, quite sharp. Good all-rounder and very cheap. Neither have the best bokeh.
45mm f1.8 not great autofocus in terms of speed but good accuracy, nice lens for focal length and larger aperture in compact size, cheap feeling build. I like the rendering though I find myself putting on filmic edits with it often. Not quite as clean as the others, but better bokeh. Needs a samyang station for updates...mostly for continuous focus if you buy used. Continuous AF isn't great with samyang lenses compared to Sony.
For portraits I like the 55mmf1.8, zeiss sonar design - blurs fast. Chromatic abberations though.
If you're okay to go bigger, the xf 33mm f1.4 is bigger than the xf35mmf1.4, then you also have:
- Sigma 50mm f2 dg dn (similar modern/clean rendering but a bit better bokeh than the viltrox f2 air, has an aperture ring, but much bigger and heavier, and more expensive but no weather sealing either, still a compact lens relatively speaking).
- Voigtlander 50mm f1.2 Nokton (manual focus, SE edition no longer sold but it's the lighter version). Closeup performance wide-open isn't good if that matters to you. My favourite.
- Voigtlander 50mm f2 APO-Lanthar (manual focus and fun to use for realism scenes, good uniformity across the frame even at f2.8 / f4)
28mm there's less options out there, I have the Voigtlander 28mm f1.5 Nokton (manual focus), which you see at the end there, nice lens but does has noticeable CA. Sony has their own though I think it's f2 and I've heard there's significant sample variation. Thypoch Simera 28mm f1.4 is a little longer, and manual focus, but smoother bokeh. Sony version isn't designed for the sensor thickness so mid-frame dip in resolution but nice for people shots with a 28mm.

- Sigma 50mm f2 dg dn (similar rendering but a bit better bokeh than the viltrox f2 air, has an aperture ring, but much bigger and heavier, and more expensive but no weather sealing either, still a compact lens relatively speaking).
A7Cii & A7CR are the smallest interchangeable lens full-frame stills cameras for Sony that are recent as far as I know.

- Sigma 50mm f2 dg dn (a bit better bokeh than the viltrox f2 air, aperture ring, but much bigger and heavier, still a compact lens but relatively speaking).
- Voigtlander 50mm f1.2 Nokton (manual focus but my favourite). Closeup performance wide-open isn't good if that matters to you.
A7Cii & A7CR are the smallest interchangeable lens full-frame stills cameras for Sony that are recent as far as I know.
- Viltrox 50mm f2 Air (not f1.8 and lower but very sharp)
- Sony 50mm f1.8
- Samyang 45mm f1.8
- Sony 55mm f1.8
I haven't used the xf 33mmf1.4 but I've heard the AF is improved over the xf35mmf1.4.
If you want faster AF, the two Sonys there are the better ones.
28mm there's less options out there, I have the Voigtlander 28mm f1.5 Nokton (manual focus), which you see at the end there, but Sony has their own though I think it's f2 and there's some sample variation.
For a clean look, the viltrox 50mm f2 air is mighty impressive imho. Tiny, light, great IQ. Could be too sharp for some.
50mm f1.8 also has decent rendering, a clean look, quite sharp. Neither have the best bokeh.
45mm f1.8 not great autofocus, nice lens for focal length and speed. I like the rendering though I find myself putting on filmic edits with it often. Not quite as clean as the others, but better bokeh.
For portraits I like the 55mmf1.8, sonar design so it blurs fast.
If you're okay to go bigger, the xf 33mm f1.4 is bigger than the xf35mmf1.4, then you also have:
