For some reason when I tried to replicate the experiment I got completely different results!

120fps,_30fps,_60fps by acurian, on Flickr

* Sony's 160GB CF-A card.
* Compressed RAW
* AF OFF

60fps_Lossless_Comp_(L)_+_JPEG_Fine_24M by acurian, on Flickr

This is lossless compressed + jpeg, the data is more messy because AF is on.

120fps_compressed by acurian, on Flickr

This is compressed raw 120fps with autofocus on

Either way I do not slow down to 5fps as per dclark's testing?

Could it be just the different memory card?
