I'm not overly fussed about corner sharpness all that much ... the nokton e-mount though, it's like it's using cheap glass an optician might put out to save some cash and hope you don't notice the light isn't quite right.
It's just funky, crunchy, how nehemiahphoto put it a while ago, was the right description. Funky and contrasty.
^^ this was initial impression on a bright sunny day, next day with clouds was better, I suspect CA related but just wanted to drop this edit for clarification.
I was really not happy if you can't tell.
The pics from this thread do look wonderful still and with the sale I'm very tempted to just pick it up anyway to compare for myself.
