Thank you. With Barn Owls, the only real problem is finding them - for the rest you just have to show up. Same with Shorties I guess. Getting flight shots or even sequences of Great Horned or Barred is what really makes you question your life choices
I don't know how you guys do it, because I learned shooting urban owls is dangerous! I pointed my camera up at this guy in near darkness and he tried to shit on me. It was a torrential downpour, about 3' in diameter. It was like a firehose of brown syrup coming down at me, had to dive out of the way into oncoming traffic and barely missed it.
..Had me laughing! I am follically challenged and it seems birds enjoy taking a "bombing run" on the bald head! The "hits" are more than the Misses!
