Going along the theme of acceptable sharpness, below are some of the lenses I've owned...
Voigtlander 12mm f/5.6 = sharp in the middle, softer in the corners, can stop down for better sharpness in corners, small, light, manual focus; VC 15 is sharper in corners
Sigma 14mm f/1.4 = big, heavy, very fast, very sharp all over, good AF; need to stop down a little because while sharp everywhere, it's not flat field so you need f/2.8 to get across the frame sharp from any focus point; specialty lens and expensive
Sony 14mm f/1.8 = small for the focal length and speed, good AF, not flat field so need to stop it down, decent sharpness; haven't tested this one much
Samyang 14-24mm f/2.8 = my spouse's copy is very sharp across the frame wide open, corners are not as good as center-mid field so you need to stop down to get a little better performance in the corners
Sigma 14-24mm f/1.4 DG DN = very good at all focal lengths on my copy wide open, AF is fast and accurate, cannot use screw in filters but can use a Nisi 150mm filter kit (or equivalent); this is my favorite general purpose wide angle lens
Voigtlander 15mm f/4.5 = sharp in the middle, softer in the corners but can stop down for good sharpness across frame, small, light, manual focus; VC 12 is softer in corners
Zeiss Batis 18mm f/2.8 = sharp to the corners, small but fat, light, no aperture ring, fast AF
Zeiss Loxia 21mm f/2.8 = very sharp wide open, great microcontrast, has that Zeiss look, manual focus, haptics suck
Sony 24mm f/1.4 GM = sharp all over, fairly small, fast and accurate AF - you cannot go wrong with this one
