Few more from the F22 Demo Team. It is nice to see young ones tag along with dads and grand dads to experience the wonderful world of aviation.
What a set, cs3is! The F-22 looked so close to the spectators!
Another main reason I took the trip to Belgium was to see the Lancaster bomber, I have never seen one. Too bad it didn't fly on either Sat or Sun, due to technical issues, I think. But I did see this Avro Anson Mk.I from the Czech Republic. According to the organizer, this is "the world’s only airworthy Avro Anson Mk.I.". Due to the horrible lighting, slow shutter speed and my poor panning skill, I only managed to get a few goods shots of this bird.
Great shot's Douglas despite poor panning skills.
The Lancaster will go into maintenance at the end of the display season , so it will not be available for display next year.
I have read that one of the engine's I thought No 1 will be replaced with a zero hour engine because the current one is at its's end of live span.
It also will receive a new livery, probably will have something to do with the tallboy raids and subsequently sinking of the Tirpitz.
At least that are the rumors.
