The images I posted are "copies" from the original Mathew Brady and crews final image.
Mathew Brady had a team of photographers and while many photos are associated to his taking, a member of his "crew" could have taken the image.
Most, if not ALL, processing was done by Brady and his "crew" on the battlefield.
I have visited the National Archives to see his original glass plate negatives and albumen prints. If you are ever in the DC area, NARA is well worth the visit. Many are the tones displayed so wonderfully here by Kambiz!
