As far as space goes, yes you only have so many walls. But have you considered portfolio boxes to store your prints and bring them out when company comes over for viewing. People seem to like holding an actual print for viewing than looking at an image on a screen…at least that is what I’ve observed.
I agree totally with your statement! But I am a sort of, well no sort of, introvert when this subject comes up..I tend NOT to bring the subject of photography up if not asked. And unfortunaltely it is never! My "circle" would tend to see it more of a "badge" versus an art which is best viewed!
