Thought I'd mention some results from trying out some, mostly cheap, EF glass on the GFX as it may be useful to others. I'm using the Fringer EF to GFX adapter, and the GFX 50s ii, which has contrast detect only.
AF performance is quite usable with this combo, but forget it if you need to track moving subjects. Focus tends to overshoot and then draw back to lock focus, but it does so quick enough.
EF 40mm f2.8 can be happily recommended, as is widely known. It is a bit smeary in the corners in 4x3 mode, and just in the extreme corners in 3x2 mode. It works great in 65x24 crop.
EF 100mm f2.8 USM macro (non L) can also be recommended. There is no vignetting at all in 4x3 mode even at f2.8. This lens is sharp.
EF 85mm f1.8 USM is somewhat recommended. It vignettes in 4x3 mode but is useable in 3x2 mode and could work as a cheap and pretty sharp portrait lens.
The 24-70mm f4 L USM, the 24-105mm f3.5-5.6 STM and ancient 70-210mm f3.5-4.5 USM are all not recommended. They hard vignette in 4x3 through most of the zoom range and are less than ideal even in 3x2 crop, though obviously can be used in 35mm mode.
