Not exactly sure what the intention was posting this without any context, but looking at his "complaints", most of those could have been deduced from simply reading the data sheet/marketing more closely.
The monitor cast issue is something I'm keeping my eye on. The X2D's rear monitor is SO color accurate that taking a step back from that would be really frustrating.
I posted because I watched the video and, while I know some of the specs, I've never actually shot with this camera or any digital medium format, mainly because of the system size and weight. I was just curious to see if the comments made sense. Is that a problem? I think the context comes from the video itself.
The video is a somewhat provocative "buyer beware" when the items presented were mostly known pre-release and are the oversights of the poster vs "issues". I was just curious what stood out as a real concern to you by posting it.
The guy in the video...I felt kind of bad for him. The complaints he gave were akin to someone saying buyer beware, the car with the manual transmission won't automatically shift, could be a problem.
I see no blue cast on my rear LCD but I did do the sensor calibration before using it in earnest so I may have saved my self that issue?
That he claims to own "every" Hasselblad and GFX yet lack such basic knowledge is pretty embarrassing...certainly doesn't come across as someone who should be paid much attention to in terms of rational concerns.
If you're buying extremely niche, high end gear and not paying attention to even basic marketing material, you're probably going to have a bad time in general.

His absolute lack of knowledge on the camera and system is world class….
Gordon
Since you own the camera, were his claims misleading?
I also own the camera, put about 30 hours and 1400 frames through it this weekend on a really cool job at a design seminar a colleague launched. I shot 5% of those in raw and the rest in JPEG / HDR.
His claims came off as if he and only he discovered "bugs" that he felt important to share, to me that was the misleading part. Aside from the possible blue screen, none of them are bugs, just limitations to be aware of through the usual path of due diligence one ought to do before spending this kind of money. A good example of a bug a user would discover but the maker not "announce" would be the purple cast on the Leica M8 that eventually required the use of IR cut filters.
There are several new features on this camera and they are all well represented in the previews, promotional literature and of course, the full user manual. Other youtube reviews mention them as well but don't present them in quite the same manner...as if Hasselblad effed up.
By the way, posting the video does not in any way reflect poorly on you, it is indeed making the rounds at the moment.
