You can, but since there is only one of the recall settings, you have to make a judicious choice how to use that. (or did nikon implement one recall setting for each U setting? if so that would be great and beat the Z8/Z9)
A dedicated subject detection toggle and subject type cycle should be on Nikon's next priority to implement across the lineup. They are the ony one of big three to not have these features.
