Only because we keep making new MS Optics threads over the years. Guys, we should tag any old useful old MS-Optics threads on this post so they don't get lost/buried!

And lastly, a couple images

When comparing the 35/1.4 Pre-asph and the 35/1.4 Apoqualia, I like both (they're fairly similar) but the Apoqualia seems to give a slightly wider field of view and shows less optical vignetting, resulting in rounder highlights. It also when wide open, it appears a bit better corrected for SA than the Leica. This is just my impression from looking at side-by-side shots of the flannel shirt. Technically, the Apoqualia is an f/1.5 lens, which might explain why it produces less glow.

Good observations Fred. The Apoqualia definitely has less SA than the Lux and therefore and unsurprisingly more contrast WO. But, I have found the bokeh to be less round because it has a ton of optical vignetting/swirl. I find that amount of optical swirl be be a type of character I don't like and my larget dislike about the lens. It's all over the frame. Lower amounts I am fine with. Here is a couple examples:

There is also some FC, on either a stock or modded sensor that will make the corners pop back into focus. The bokeh is better stopped down (in terms of smoothness and FC) than WO.

@Andrew CD Congrats Post some pics to keep this thread popping!
