Zoar Valley is a 2,978 acre multi-use area and one of the most scenic and ecologically diverse environmental locations in Western New York. It's only about 20 minutes from my house. I spent my youth hiking all over this area but somehow missed this spot which my son told me about a few days ago. I had intentions of hiking the 3.5 mile loop trail around the pond but when I got to this beautiful wildflower meadow I spent the next 3 hours slowly walking back and forth, catching subjects wherever I could.
