Here's a few quick snaps from the evening I got the lens and afternoon the day after.
I choose these photos purely from aesthetic point of view, I was looking for the feeling or vibe the lens can capture. These are basically all frames wide open or almost wide open. I was interested in how the lens performs wide open, and I'm pretty pleased with the results. Most of these are SOOC.
There's one concern with the lens I got. The aperture ring turns over 1.0 mark, is that normal? It seems to work normally, but I was thinking, is it possible the ring itself is a bit misaligned with the lens barrel where the aperture markings are?
It's very common with MS-Optics lenses that the aperture ring can turn further than the marking for fastest aperture. Majority of my MS-Optics lenses work that way. Normally there is no visible sign of the blades at fastest aperture mark and beyond and the blades start to become visible when stopping down from the widest aperture marker. It's pretty much the standard way with these lenses.
