Dan,
I shoot a weird concoction on Nikon (for long working distance) that equals 480mm. D7200 + 200mm ais + modified TC-16A (gives me partial AF) - but no stabilizing. I also own an EF 300mm f4 IS and a choice of crop frame, or full frame bodies - and if needing to get closer I could screw on a Canon 77mm 500D Close-up Lens (might work better with an IS zoom). I'll go try a few and get back to you.
Heh James, if it works for you that is great! I am very surprised that there is no long focal length "IS" macro besides the Canon 100mm Macro IS.
MY Fuji GFX100sii has IBIS and the lenses have IS and they work great for my tremors! But for macro work I like a creamy dreamy bokeh for many subjects.
Nikon's 200mm Macro sounds wonderful but no "IS".
Was just "askin' members if I had missed something.
Thanks!
Dan
