I’ve owned several A7x, A7Rx, A9x, and a A1 as my full frame mirrorless cameras and the A7Cx as smaller travel cameras and the model naming conventions have never bothered me or kept me confused. If they confuse you how do you deal with the jumble of video standards, just curious.
By the way also shot Canon for years a currently own an R5 Mk II after the R, and R5 and bought a used 1DX Mark II. Tried the Z9 but that tank was too much for me to carry and their Z8 and upgraded Z6x was not yet available.

It would be nice to see them target a camera to compete head to head with the R5 Mark II as a more general purpose camera that can do about anything and there size and lens collection would be a great advantage. Canon L lens family is great but for me as I get older becoming too heavy.
