I forgot to say, I too prefer primes but for these events as well as in the theater and future small concerts I feel zooms are just easier. I feel I’d have struggled with primes. I am carrying 2 cameras in the theater but still.

The reasons are the same, the Plena is simply a lot more fun and ideally rewards you with an exceptionally beautiful rendering.
But for a job like this, I would also prefer the Z 70-200/2.8 VR S, as it is simply the more flexible and more suitable tool.
