I visited a place in Holland where a family of kingfishers nested some 2+ years ago. Back then I only had my 70-200mm and my A7r V. I was only able to get some passable images. With that opportunity in mind, I schlepped my A1 II and the GM 300mm plus both TCs this time around for another visit to Europe/Holland for that. I left the wildlife gear at my friend's place while visiting some other parts of Europe. The lighting condition remained poor like before but at least I could get some more reach and was able to capture some flying actions of these birds using the A1 II. But I had to run denoising actions first and here is one...
@HelenaN - Great images, Helena, especially that of the puffin! What lens did you use for that?
