The Japanese buy plenty of iPhones and US services, but yes the car tariffs are high. As I recall the TPP, which Trump killed in his first term, would have eliminated or significantly reduced tariffs on US imports into Japan.

The Japanese buy plenty of iPhones and US services, and their companies manufacture a lot of vehicles in the US.

As I recall the TPP, which Trump killed in his first term, would have eliminated or significantly reduced tariffs on US imports into Japan. Oops?
